Cheryl Hugill

Executive Summary

Cheryl Hugill is a partner in BDO's Cambridge office. She began her career at the Kitchener office in 1983. Her exceptional business, client service, and management abilities led Cheryl to become a partner in 1991. Through her leadership, she successfully spearheaded BDO's leap into the Cambridge market in 2006. Under Cheryl's guidance, BDO has become one of the largest accounting firms in Cambridge.

Cheryl focuses on accounting and advisory services for owner-managed businesses, retail franchisees, and not-for-profit housing co-ops. Her philosophy is to “know you, know your family, and know your business.” This method, combined with BDO's team approach, helps her clients succeed.

In 2018, Cheryl was elected to the Board of BDO Canada LLP which is a nine member board that oversees the governance of the firm.
