Bruno Suppa

Executive Summary

A native Torontonian, Bruno Suppa is Managing Partner for BDO Canada's Greater Toronto Area Group and responsible for leading a practice of approximately 1,000 people, across a variety of business sectors and service offerings. He also sits on the firm's executive leadership team.

Prior to his appointment as Managing Partner, Bruno's focus was on Mergers & Acquisitions, leading the firm's Transaction Advisory Services group. He was responsible for advising clients on all matters related to M&A, Due Diligence and Corporate Finance transactions. Bruno was also heavily involved in the management of BDO Canada's national firm M&A activity including strategy development and the identification, negotiation, execution and integration of various accounting, tax and advisory practices. Given BDO's International footprint, Bruno has engaged in key national and international initiatives, leading the Canadian firm's Private Equity group and representing Canada on BDO International's global M&A and Private Equity Steering Committees. Prior to re-joining BDO, Bruno worked with the Corporate Finance group of Deloitte in Toronto, where he focused on buy and sell-side M&A, capital raising and consulting. Bruno is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA/CA) with over 15 years of progressive experience in domestic and international business with a concentration on mergers and acquisitions. He holds an Honours of Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario). He also holds a Corporate Finance (CF) qualification from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants
