Executive Summary
Anne-Marie is a Partner in BDO's Montreal office. Over the last 20 years, she has completed many investigative mandates concerning financial fraud, including embezzlement and fraud by employees, etc. During the course of these investigations, she was responsible for supervising and leading teams of professionals. She has also been in charge of support mandates related to fraud risk assessment.
She has executed litigation mandates relating to damage quantification for breach of contract, shareholder disputes, conflicts between franchisors and franchisees, family litigation, as well as insurance claims and financial fraud. Anne-Marie also specializes in business valuations and has prepared valuation mandates in both public and private sectors.
She has prepared and conducted many presentations on forensic accounting and damage quantification. In particular, she taught the course “Operational Risk Management – An Introduction to Forensic Accounting,” offered by the Faculty of Administration at Sherbrooke University for the graduate level CGA program in 2012 and 2013.
