BDO celebrates 2021 LinkedIn Top Companies feature in Canada

In addition to a number of milestones being celebrated this year, BDO is proud to be ranked #14 on the 2021 LinkedIn Top Companies list in Canada.

Every year, this list is compiled based on exclusive LinkedIn data, and is published in 20 global markets. Seven pillars are evaluated to reveal elements of career progression—ultimately showing what it means to build a great career. The pillars include ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity, and educational background.

“This is an incredible moment to celebrate our BDO Canada partners and people,” says Pat Kramer, Chief Executive Officer, BDO Canada. “Our talent experience is a key component of our firm's strategy. During a particularly challenging period, our teams from coast to coast have been a shining example of collaboration, creativity, and growth. 2021 marks 100 years of BDO in Canada, a year of celebrating milestones, and being recognized on this list is another remarkable collective achievement to applaud our great team.”

In addition to ranking #14 on the 2021 LinkedIn Top Companies list in Canada, BDO celebrates the following awards received in the last year:

  • 2020 Co-op employer of the year award – Awarded by Brock University for the Large Organization category for making outstanding contributions to Brock's Co-op education program through the consistent employment of Brock co-op students. This award strengthens BDO's brand on campus as a top employer and would not be possible without the contributions and support of our BDO team.
  • Future Workforce Top 50 Business Employer – BDO has been named a Top Student Employer in Canada by Future Workforce for the 2nd year in a row; maintaining our spot in the top 50 companies within the business field. Based on considerable research, Future Workforce publishes rankings of employers in segments including geographic region, diversity groups, and major areas of study.
  • Top 100 employer for young talent in Canada for 2020 – For the first time, BDO has made Universum's list, based on student responses rather than an application for a feature. Universum presents this ranking every year with the most attractive companies for students. Their survey is the largest and longest-running student career preference survey in Canada with over 1.2 million responses cumulatively.
