Toronto (ON) – BDO Canada is pleased to announce that Kara Kempin has joined the firm as a Partner.
Kara brings 20 years of experience to BDO specializing in real estate, construction, and professional services. Her previous experience as the CFO of a professional services start-up helped her expand her knowledge of internal processes and sales.
In her new role, Kara will continue to provide guidance around Tax Preparation, Accounting, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Tax Accounting, and Income Tax to our clients.

A graduate from the University of Alberta, Kara is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta and volunteers her time at KidSport Edmonton as Treasurer and at the Realtors Community Foundation as a board member.
Kara is based out of the BDO office in Edmonton.
