Winning by design: BDO National office awarded architectural prize
March 15, 2019
Our National office, created by the internationally celebrated architects at Lemay, won a 2019 Grands Prix du Design.
Described as “a haven for inspiration and innovation,” our headquarters are designed for physical and virtual collaboration, and for knowledge exchange between our employees and our clients.
“The flexible and fluid space facilitates the knowledge-sharing and innovation that was primordial in BDO’s vision of their future. The space is enhanced with communication tools that enable virtual exchanges across a nationally connected network of experts to the benefit of the BDO clients,” said Sandra Neill, a partner at Lemay.
“Our desire is to have a creative and engaging space where our staff can work and engage with clients. Lemay’s design has effectively captured the spirit of BDO and allows for our clients and staff alike to feel at home in this modern space,” said Dave Simkins, chief operating officer at BDO Canada.
As a centre of excellence, the office includes teaching facilities and flexible workspaces for a mobile, multigenerational workforce delivering exceptional professional services.
Setting the standard, our award-winning design will inform current and future locations across Canada.
