BDO Partners Appointed To The Accounting Standards Board And Accounting Standards Oversight Council

BDO is pleased to congratulate two BDO partners on their recent appointments to the Accounting Standards Board (AcSB) and Accounting Standards Oversight Council (AcSOC).

Armand Capisciolto, BDO's National Accounting Standards Partner, has been appointed as the AcSB vice-chair for a two-year term ending March 31, 2021. Armand provides leadership and guidance on issues related to accounting standards at BDO, and has been an active member of the AcSB for four years, including chairing the board's Private Enterprise Advisory Committee. Armand received his FCPA, the CPA Ontario Fellow designation, in December 2017.

The Accounting Standards Oversight Council is an independent organization that oversees the Accounting Standards Board and the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB). Comprised of a diverse range of accounting professionals, including auditors, regulators, and investors, the AcSOC, AcSB, and the PSAB work to establish and maintain accounting and auditing standards in Canada.
