Halifax, NS – BDO Canada LLP, a leading professional services firm, is moving into the state-of-the-art Centre for Ocean Ventures & Entrepreneurship (COVE) on the Dartmouth waterfront.
BDO's lease begins January 2019, when the firm will set up a permanent office at the collaborative marine facility. COVE is an innovation hub bringing together ocean technology businesses and related organizations to support commercialization in the industry.
BDO Partner Kelly Johnstone said the Halifax office is constantly exploring ways to bring its assurance, accounting, tax and advisory services to the technology and life sciences sector.

BDO's COVE desk will provide go-to financial advice to marine startups and other businesses. For COVE tenants, the move by BDO enhances the high-quality services available under one roof as they push their advances to market.

COVE is located on the site of a former Canadian Coast Guard facility. Tenants have access to two large deep-water piers, a mix of short- and long-term office space, an incubator, shops and labs.
