TORONTO – BDO, one of the world's leading independent public accounting and advisory services firms, has announced that it reached US$8.99 billion in global revenues for the year ended September 30, 2018. This is 10.7 percent higher than last year due to the strong growth in the firm's advisory business, which now comprises the majority of services that BDO offers.
Now in 162 countries and territories, BDO saw consistent growth across all regions in 2018, with EMEA posting the highest growth at 17 percent; followed by the Americas, 7.8 percent; and the Asia Pacific, 6.6 percent. BDO's staff also expanded by 8.4 percent this year to more than 80,000 professionals in its 1,591 offices worldwide.
