Montréal, Québec, October 27th, 2017 - We are excited to announce that BDO Canada s.r.l./S.E.N.C.R.L./LLP (“BDO”) will once again be among the official application assessors for the Mercuriades, a prestigious competition organized by the Fédération des Chambres de Commerces du Québec (“FCCQ”).
The accounting firm will thus take part in the 38th edition of Québec’s most prestigious business competition. In renewing its participation, BDO expresses its commitment to both success and recognition of Québec businesses. The aspiring Québec companies, whether SME or large corporations, shall submit their application by December 20, 2017. The competition process itself will end with the highly mediated Award Gala taking place on April 19, 2018.
“Our role as assessors means a great deal to us as we are witnessing the extent of the efforts and discipline the candidates put in preparing their applications,” explains Christian Lapointe, partner at BDO in charge of the Mercuriades.
Since 1981, over 10,000 candidates were qualified. Finalists and winners alike are gaining recognition from their peers and from their client base and prospects.
