BDO Canada Announces Appointment of Managing Partner, Bruno Suppa

TORONTO — November 22, 2016 — BDO Canada LLP is proud to announce the appointment of Bruno Suppa as Managing Partner for the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). In this leadership role, Bruno will manage this important growth market consisting of 10 locations in Central Toronto, North Toronto, Mississauga and Burlington. Based in Toronto, Bruno’s work will focus on growing and establishing BDO as the mid-market professional services leader in the GTA. He will sit on BDO Canada’s executive leadership team and work collaboratively with Managing Partners and Service Line Leaders on strategies to enhance our client service experience.
Bruno is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 15 years of progressive experience in domestic and international business with a concentration on mergers and acquisitions. He joined BDO in 2004 and became partner in 2014. Bruno was most recently Partner and Managing Director for the Transaction Advisory Services practice at BDO, specializing in corporate finance and financial due diligence. He is the leader of BDO Canada’s private equity industry group and sits on both the BDO International Merger and Acquisitions Steering Committee and the BDO International Private Equity Steering Committee. In addition, Bruno has been heavily involved in BDO’s own M&A growth strategy across all areas of service.
Bruno received an Honours of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and holds a Corporate Finance qualification from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
