"Building Ontario Up"

On April 23, 2015, the Honourable Charles Sousa presented his fourth budget as Minister of Finance. The government continues on its path to balance the budget in 2017-18 with a plan that will also support economic growth and new jobs. The plan includes four parts — building modern infrastructure, supporting skills training, creating a more innovative and dynamic business climate, and providing income security in retirement.

The deficit reported for 2014-15 is $10.9 billion which has decreased from the $12.5 billion deficit that was forecast last year. The deficit will continue to decrease, with a forecast of $8.5 billion for 2015-16 and $4.8 billion for 2016-17.
