PKI
Pigeon King International Inc. (“PKII”) filed the paperwork for a voluntary Assignment in Bankruptcy. The date of bankruptcy is July 2, 2008 and BDO Dunwoody Limited was appointed as Trustee in Bankruptcy for estate #35-1084629 per the Superintendent in Bankruptcy Certificate of Appointment.

There are two companies related to PKII. Benn Contracting Inc. may have had breeding contracts. We understand that there was limited separate reporting for Benn Contracting. The company was incorporated in March 2008. All breeders/creditors that may be associated with Benn Contracting have been included in the PKII filing. We understand that there are no separate assets owned by Benn Contracting. Sacred Dove Ranch Inc. was incorporated in February 2007 and apparently had no assets or liabilities.

Arlan Galbraith
Arlan Galbraith is the shareholder of PKII. There was a Court application in 2008 for his personal bankruptcy. That was concluded with an Order dated December 16, 2009. See separate tab for further details..

Farmer/Breeder Information

In most situations, the birds are owned by the farmer/breeder. The Trustee has no interest in the birds. The Trustee is not aware of other networks to purchase or process pigeons for food. For assistance in handling the birds, the following organizations have confirmed to BDO that farmers/breeders may contact them.

Certain contracts were with Arlan Galbraith personally and not the corporation Pigeon King. BDO will post this information as soon as it is available. These individuals, if they are owed money, would have a claim against the individual and not Pigeon King International Inc.

Some individuals have questioned the business activity as misrepresentation or fraudulent. The Trustee has possession of all records and will be completing a review of banking activity for the past one to two years. The findings will be included in a written report prepared for the Creditor meeting on July 30, 2008. In the meantime, should you wish to lodge a formal complaint, you may submit it in writing to the Trustee. Alternatively, you may contact the Waterloo Regional Police Services at 519-653-7700 extension 4751, 4756 or 4757.

The breeder contracts appeared to be that of an investor nature. The debt declared by the Officer of Pigeon King International Inc. for the bankruptcy documents was the original purchase amount by breeders less any amounts paid to the breeder for the buy back of young birds. The Trustee will be reviewing all claims submitted for amounts owed to determine if the balance is in fact a debt of Pigeon King International Inc. or the balance of an investment account.

The necessary forms have been requested from the government office for ROE's.
ROE's and T4's will be mailed as soon as possible.

A notice of the bankruptcy is being mailed to all employees during the week of July 1^st.
