On December 16, 2022, pursuant to an Order of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, BDO Canada Limited was appointed as Receiver all assets of Geyser Brands Inc. (“Geyser Brands”). The assets are as described below:
a. 100% ownership of Geyser Management Inc.
b. 100% ownership of Geyser Asia Limited
Geyser Management Inc. is the parent company of 0957102 BC Ltd. (d.b.a. Apothecary Botanicals). Apothecary Botanicals holds a license from Health Canada for standard cultivation, processing, and sale for medical purposes of cannabis.
The Receiver conducted a sales process for the assets of Geyser Brands, which included its wholly owned subsidiaries. The deadline for offers was extended to February 28, 2023 at 4:00pm PST.
On January 30, 2024, the Receiver made an application to discharge the Receiver and pay out the balance of funds held to 113 Royal Investments Ltd.
On February 9, 2024, the Receiver was discharged.
