On March 25, 2014, BDO Canada Limited of Halifax, Nova Scotia was appointed as Receiver or Receiver/Manager by Nova Scotia Business Inc. with respect to certain assets of Blue Wave Seafoods Incorporated of Port Mouton, Nova Scotia under the following security agreements:
- Term Note dated November 20, 1998 from Blue Wave Seafoods Incorporated;
- Demand Debenture dated November 20, 1998 from Blue Wave Seafoods Incorporated;
- Debenture Pledge Agreement November 20, 1998 from Blue Wave Seafoods Incorporated;
- Guarantee and Postponement of Claim dated November 20, 1998 from D'Eon Fisheries Limited;
- Guarantee and Postponement of Claim dated November 20, 1998 from Sylvain D'Eon;
- Undertaking Agreement dated November 20, 1998 from D'Eon Fisheries Limited;
- Specific Assignment of enterprise allocations and quotas dated November 20, 1998 D'Eon Fisheries Limited and Blue Wave Seafoods Incorporated;
- Priority Agreement dated April 15, 2010 between Nova Scotia Business Inc., Bank of Montreal, and Blue Wave Seafoods Incorporated;
On March 25, 2014, BDO Canada Limited of Halifax, Nova Scotia was appointed as Receiver or Receiver/Manager by Her Majesty the Queen in Right of The Province of Nova Scotia as represented by the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism with respect to certain assets of D'Eon Fisheries Limited of Port Mouton, Nova Scotia under the following security agreements:
- Fishing License Assignment Agreement to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of The Province of Nova Scotia as represented by the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism dated September 23, 2013, granted security in licenses and quotas;
- Equipment Security Agreement to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of The Province of Nova Scotia as represented by the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism dated September 23, 2013, granting security in all rights, title and interest in present, after acquired or held equipment of D'Eon Fisheries Limited, including proceeds;
- Notice to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans of an Arrangement with Recognized Financial Institution dated September 23, 2013 from D'Eon Fisheries Limited.
