Public Sector

Let's navigate the challenge together

Public Sector organizations have had to respond and mobilize efficiently in response to COVID-19. Now more than ever, Canadians are depending on a sound public service to continue delivering on its services, and having to do so in non-conventional ways. Organizations at federal, provincial and municipal levels all have accountabilities to ensure they restart the economy in ways that are safe for public servants and Canadians alike. Along with the immense considerations involved if a second wave of the pandemic strikes, we need to apply lessons learned from the initial response and ensure all public sector organizations are ready and stronger than ever to face it.

There are many challenges ahead. How will programs resume in the "new normal?" Business resilience is top of mind. How can the public service prepare, recover, and stabilize for potential future disruptions? What are the best strategies and approaches to deliver services digitally? How will program funding considerations be decided? We explore a few of these topics.
