BDO Canada appoints Amy Provvisionato as Chief Risk Officer

Toronto (ON) – BDO Canada is pleased to announce Amy Provvisionato has joined the firm as Chief Risk Officer. In this role, Amy oversees all risk management and provides strategic advice to senior leaders on a full range of matters. This includes working with the risk and legal teams to develop forward-thinking strategies and modernize risk practices and procedures.

Prior to joining BDO Canada, Amy spent 15 years at a large professional services firm, providing strategic and practical legal advice on all regulatory issues including inspections, investigations, examinations, and remediation. She also acted as legal liaison for all Canadian and International professionals, government and securities regulators. She advised on all legal compliance aspects including anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, professional standards, confidentiality, independence, and conflicts of interest.
