Investor Confidence
Investor confidence rules came into force in most Canadian jurisdictions on March 30, 2004. The rules will apply to almost all reporting issuers other than investment funds. The rules are as robust as the U.S. Sarbanes-Oxley Act, but address unique Canadian concerns. The rules relate to:
