In an item that was recently posted to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) website, non-residents of Canada have the option of making electronic tax payments by way of wire transfers. The CRA has signed a contract with the Bank of Nova Scotia concerning the management of all wire transfers for the Government of Canada. All wire transfers must be in Canadian dollars, and payments must be made to the Receiver General for Canada. Note that this payment method is only available to non-residents who do not hold a Canadian bank account.
