Before joining our national office as Chief Operating Officer, Russ led our BDO Brantford team, providing practical advice in all areas of business and financial management issues. His diverse client base of owner-managed businesses included agricultural businesses, franchises, manufacturing and distribution companies, and not-for- profit organizations. He graduated from the University of Waterloo and obtained his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1986. Russ began his career working at the Hamilton office of BDO in 1981 and was admitted to the firm’s partnership ten years later. He is the past president of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Brant County and the Rotary Club of Brantford, and was active on the Board of Directors for the Brant Community Healthcare System. He was previously a member of the BDO Policy Board, which directs our Canadian firm into the future.
