Ken has over ten years experience in financial advisory services and is involved in litigation support and investigations, business interruption claims and accident benefit claims. He has assisted insurers on hundreds of insurance claims involving Income Replacement Benefit calculations under Bill 59. Ken has also assisted insurers and insured’s with numerous commercial insurance claims involving business interruption, stock losses, extra expense and fidelity.
Ken has acted as a consultant to the legal profession providing litigation support for assessing loss of business and personal income claims.
Ken has testified before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and he has participated in the execution of Anton Piller Orders.
In 2006 and 2007, he worked on assignment with the RCMP Integrated Market Enforcement Team (“IMET”) regarding alleged misappropriation of funds of a publicly traded company. His work involved tracing of funds and interviewing witnesses and suspects.
He is a member of The Society of Management Accounts of Ontario and the Insurance Institute of Ontario. He was awarded the Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting (“DIFA”) from the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto) in 2005.
