Richard Payette joins accounting and advisory
firm, BDO

TORONTO: BDO is pleased to announce that Richard Payette has joined the firm as a partner and member of its management committee, effective November 1, 2010.
In his national role, Richard will be responsible for the firm’s development ― namely, for providing strategic and executive leadership across the country for merger and purchase activities for BDO.
Richard has significant experience as a strategist working towards growth and profitability, and as a leader who can direct teams to find creative solutions to deliver tangible results. He is recognized for his accomplishments in business transformation, team leadership and his management of clientele. He is also a Fellow of the Québec Order of Chartered Accountants.
Richard is strongly involved in the community, acting as Past Chairman of the Board of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec, and as Director of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation. As a member of the Young Presidents’ Organisation (YPO), he also worked with organizations like the Canadian Red Cross, Little Brothers of the Poor, and Pointe-à-Callière Museum Foundation.
