BDO receives 2011 Learning! 100 Award
March 23, 2011
TORONTO: BDO is pleased to announce that the accounting and advisory firm was chosen as one of the Learning! 100 Award recipients from Elearning! Media Group, publishers of Elearning! and Government Elearning! magazines. The award recognizes 60 corporate and 40 public sector organizations across all industries for outstanding learning culture, innovation or collaboration that drives performance.
The recipients either applied directly for consideration or were nominated by vendors, partners or Elearning! magazine editors. Together, the Learning! 100 represent the best in learning and development organizations across North America.
This award program has a research-based approach that allows firms to compete fairly regardless of size, as well as learning opportunities to improve their rankings in subsequent years. Learning! 100 applicants are evaluated in learning and development, learning culture index, and overall organizational performance.
The list is determined by overall performance and the impact of the organizations’ learning leadership. “The top ranked organizations all drive innovation and learning impact across their industries, nationally and/or globally,” said Catherine Upton, Group Publisher, Elearning! Media Group.
Rose Marie Clarke, National Director of Learning & Development at BDO in Canada, stated: “We are honoured to be chosen as a Learning! 100 organization. This award represents our commitment to fostering an innovative learning culture that allows our employees to develop and build successful careers.”
