BDO and Daye & Company announce merger

EDMONTON: Expanding one of Canada’s largest accounting and advisory firms, BDO Canada LLP and Daye & Company have merged their professional practices, effective November 1, 2010. The offices will now operate under the BDO name.
Together, the two highly successful independent practices will help grow BDO’s presence in Edmonton and Northern Alberta with more than 130 partners, professionals and staff. They will also be backed by the firm’s national team and resources.
The newly expanded Edmonton office will offer an increased breadth of its pre-existing services, while continuing to deliver quality, timely and personalized advice to help clients achieve professional growth and success.
According to Bill Daye, Managing Partner of Daye & Company, “We are very pleased to join the BDO team, which has a strong local presence in Alberta, and a recognizable name across Canada. We can now provide our clients even better service and assistance.”
