BDO welcomes Telos Business Solutions to SR&ED practice

TORONTO: BDO Canada LLP (“BDO”) is pleased to announce that Telos Business Solutions (“Telos”) has joined BDO, effective July 15, 2011. The combined practice will operate under the BDO Canada LLP name.
Telos specializes in Canada’s Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax credit program, which provides generous incentives for companies that conduct innovative research and development. Telos works closely with companies through the application process to help them access the maximum benefits for which they qualify.
BDO is a leading accounting and advisory services firm in Canada. Its SR&ED practice offers services to help clients with the tax credit program, including assistance with technical report preparation, financial information, documentation systems, and claim reviews.
Eight professionals from Telos now join BDO’s growing SR&ED practice across Canada and will continue to offer SR&ED services to companies in Northern Ontario and Manitoba. As part of BDO, they will gain access to the firm’s national and international resources to help clients achieve success in the SR&ED credit program. Both practices work with companies in various industries, while Telos also brings in-depth experience with the forestry and information technology sectors.
With two locations in Thunder Bay and Winnipeg, its team will provide services to companies in these cities, as well as Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, North Bay, Wawa, Selkirk, Brandon, Timmins, Kenora, Dryden, Fort Frances, and surrounding areas.
