Credit Union Series – IFRS Conversions: Keeping it Practical (presented in association with DICO)
BDO (in association with DICO) has developed an IFRS webinar specifically designed to address the IFRS conversion needs of smaller credit unions.
The IFRS webinar is being hosted by BDO’s IFRS Conversion Team and will focus on assisting credit unions with developing a practical and cost effective approach to IFRS conversion.
While the webinar has been designed for Class 1 institutions, other credit unions may register and attend.
The webinar will be only available in English although presentation materials will be made available in French on DICO's website prior to February 5, 2010.
Many credit unions have only recently started their IFRS project planning; this Webinar has been designed to assist you in assessing the status of your project and provide tips for your conversion. Topics to be covered include Loan Impairment, Financial Instruments and developing your IFRS Financial Statements. BDO will also present a module on how to avoid common pitfalls during your conversion.
Representatives from DICO will be on hand to address any regulatory specific questions.
